Tompkins Square Park is a true neighborhood park, once known as the epicenter of drug dealers, drug addicts and homeless people in New York until the late 1980s.
Today it is an ever popular park where you can meet different social classes, artists and outsiders.
Children throng in the playground and on the basketball court.

The public toilets are a place of sales, but this park is extraordinary social mix, dog park, skatepark, music everywhere, artists graffeurs , kids who celebrate their birthday (see my 'KIDS' series), a hideaway for homeless, and lawn where one gets tanned naked breasts which is also licensed in New York
